A Miracle for Mom

I hope you all are doing well.  I wanted to let you know that I will be hosting a charity dine out night next month and would greatly appreciate your support.

The event will help raise money for a rare brain disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, also known as PSP.  My mom was diagnosed with it two years ago and is currently battling the horrible effects of the disease.  It is a neurodegenerative brain disease that has no known cause, treatment or cure. It affects nerve cells that control walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech, and swallowing.

In an attempt to raise awareness about the disease, which is often misdiagnosed, and to raise money for a cure I have organized a Cure PSP Dine Out for Tuesday, September 25 at South City Kitchen in the Vinings.  If more than 50 people will join me for dinner, the restaurant will kindly donate 20% of their total sales that evening to finding a cure.

I’m sure some of you have seen my Facebook invitation by now and I sincerely appreciate those of you that have already shown your support!   https://www.facebook.com/events/372136119525144/

If you are able to attend please make a reservation with the restaurant now by calling (770) 435-0700 and let them know you are dining out for a cure!  For more information on PSP or to make a donation, go to www.curepsp.org
